This page explains what Cody Audio LLC collects through codyaudio.com, what we do with it, and who else is involved in running the site. Last updated 11 September 2026.
Who we are
Cody Audio LLC is an audio, lighting and video company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For anything about this policy or about information you have sent us, email sales@codyaudio.com or call (612) 460-0230.
What you send us
The quote form asks for your name, email address, venue, date, the kind of project and a message. When you send it, those details are emailed to sales@codyaudio.com, and the website does not keep a copy.
The one exception is a submission our spam filter turns away. The website keeps a record of that — what was sent, the time and the IP address — for up to 60 days, so we can check that genuine enquiries are not being blocked. The filter runs entirely on our own server; nothing is sent to anyone else.
We use what you send to reply to your request and, if you go ahead, to plan and deliver the job. We keep enquiry emails for as long as they are useful for that and for our business records. We do not sell your information, add you to a mailing list, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
The same applies when you email or call us directly.
What the site collects on its own
- Server logs. Our host, HostGator, records standard details of each request — IP address, browser, the page requested and the time — to run and secure the server.
- Login security. Jetpack Protect, from Automattic, checks the IP address of attempts to log in to the site’s admin area, to block password-guessing attacks. Ordinary visits to the site are not affected.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for visitors. WordPress sets cookies only for the people who log in to manage the site.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sales@codyaudio.com. We will reply within a reasonable time and tell you if there is anything we are required to keep.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
