A line array flown above the stage at First Avenue

Services

Production and permanent AV, under one roof.

Four disciplines, one crew — for a single show night or for a system that has to still be right in ten years.

AV design-build and installation

Permanent systems, either to our design or to somebody else’s. Room modelling, CAD documentation, rigging plans, cable pulls, terminations, tuning, commissioning and training.

Hutton Arena at Hamline University, Icehouse, Normandale Lutheran and Animales BBQ Co. are all recent installs. AV design-build and installation →

Live event production

Concerts, festivals, galas and corporate events. Front-of-house and monitor engineering, PA appropriate to the room, patching and line checks, backline, staging and power. One day or a month of them.

Show nights at the Palace Theatre and First Avenue, among others. Live event production →

Lighting design

Plots, patch and circuit schedules, truss and motor specification, fixture packages, programming and operation — for a one-night rig or a house system that has to look right every night.

Video and projection

Laser projection with short and ultra-short throw lenses, LED wall supply and processing, camera packages, switching, playback, and video distribution and control on permanent installs.

The things that sit between the disciplines

System commissioning. Measurement-based tuning, presets that mean something, documentation that matches what is actually installed, and training for whoever runs the room after we leave.

Fiber and infrastructure. The cable, conduit, racks and network that everything else depends on and nobody photographs. Most of the labour on a permanent install lives here.

Crew and labour. Experienced hands for install days, load-ins and show calls, on our jobs or on yours.

These are the gaps that open up when audio, lighting and video arrive as three separate companies. Running them as one crew is the point.

Not sure which of these you need?

Most people are not, and that is fine. Tell us about the room — what it is, what goes wrong in it, and what you want it to do — and we will tell you which of these apply. If the answer is that you need less than you thought, we will say that too.

If you are a general contractor or consultant with a bid set, start at bid and spec work instead.
